Building Lasting Careers for Young Talent, Strengthening the Future of the Bakery Sector
On March 11, the Bakery School Turkey welcomed its first cohort of students, marking the sound of its very first school bell. Twenty motivated students from Sancaktepe Eyüp Sultan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School began their educational journey in a learning environment designed to bridge passion and profession.
The school follows a hands-on educational model where theory is directly connected to production. By combining technical expertise with real-world bakery experience and industry discipline, the program aims to unlock the full professional potential of young talent. Spread over three years, the curriculum focuses on bakery, patisserie, and chocolate, equipping students with the practical skills and confidence required to smoothly transition into their first job in the bakery industry.

The official opening ceremony of the Bakery School Turkey took place on April 7, 2026, symbolizing an important milestone for vocational education in the sector. We were honored to celebrate this special occasion in the presence of Sancaktepe District Governor Naif Yavuz, Provincial Director of National Education Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Mücahit Yentür, and Provincial Deputy Director of National Education Hüseyin Aydın. Their support highlights the shared commitment to investing in youth, education, and the long-term sustainability of the bakery profession.
Through this initiative, the Bakery School Turkey aims not only to train skilled professionals but also to inspire the next generation to see bakery as a stable, respected, and future-oriented career path.
