The Internal Innovation Competition, launched in 2024 and now an established tradition at BSV, continues to be a valuable learning platform for our students. The competition brings together Year 1 and Year 2 students, encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing, and peer learning across bakery, pastry, chocolate, and laminated dough disciplines.

What makes this competition unique is the active involvement of Puratos Grand-Place Vietnam professionals, who serve as judges and mentors. Their feedback allows students to better understand consumer expectations, market trends, and customer needs from multiple perspectives. Although an internal event, the competition is organized with rigorous professional standards, strong technical guidance, and significant investment from both the school management and teaching team, ensuring an authentic industry experience for all participants.

BSV students also demonstrated remarkable performance in external competitions, including the 11th Vietnam Culinary Challenge and the World Bakery & Confectionery Challenge. These events provided valuable opportunities for students to broaden their perspectives, exchange knowledge with international peers, and challenge themselves in professional competition environments.
The achievements of Team BSV were particularly impressive:
11 Silver Medals in Chocolate (Bon-Bon) and Bakery (Pizza)
28 Bronze Medals across Art Cakes, Bakery, Patisserie, and Chocolate categories

Beyond the awards, these competitions helped students build confidence, strengthen resilience, and continuously raise their professional aspirations within Vietnam's growing bakery industry and the global bakery community.
